HIV/AIDS victims are people living with HIV/AIDS. HIV is the short form of human immunodeficiency Virus. HIV is the type of virus that cause AIDS. AIDS is the short form of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. When HIV viruses attack the human body, they affect the body immune system. HIV reduces the number of CD4 cells in the body. When a CD4 is lower than 200 cells per cubic millimeter, a person will receive a diagnostic of AIDS. In order to maintain CD4 in the body, the HIV/AIDS victim is advised to use ARVS. These are drugs given to boost the immune of the infected person. HIV/AIDS has no cure.
